NASCLA Participating States & Reciprocity
The NASCLA Accredited Examination (administered by the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies) is a single national commercial-contractor trade exam that a number of state licensing boards accept toward their own licensure requirements — effectively a form of built-in reciprocity for contractors who don't want to re-test state by state. The list below is sourced directly from NASCLA.org's own Participating Agencies page: as of that listing, 20 agencies across 18 states and territories accept the exam. Coverage is classification- and agency-specific, so always confirm directly with your target board — and with NASCLA's current participating-agencies list — before relying on it.
