Contractor Licensing Inc. is a family owned and operated company. We have been successfully licensing contractors since 2007. We have extensive knowledge of the contractor license types as well as unmatched expertise on the licensing process.

David L. Taber Jr.

David is the President and founder of CLI. He brings with him 45 years of entrepreneurship experience. He is an expert in all areas of business ownership, including start up procedures, business filing options, day to day operations, and annual filings. David enjoys the process of getting individuals incorporated and licensed, and he takes the time to get to know each client and is invested in their overall success. His many of years of licensing contractors makes him a true expert on the process. The contractor licensing requirements are extensive, but he understands them well and he also understands the possible issues that might arise with application submissions.

James Taber

James is the Vice President of Contractor Licensing Inc. His specialty is application processing and follow-up care. One of James’s greatest strengths is his attention to detail. He takes the time to go through each document submitted to make sure that nothing is left out of the submitted application. Once the application is submitted he follows it closely at the DBPR to make sure questions are answered in a timely manner.
